I was shocked and amazed that any book was able to enchant me the way Between Sisters did from the first moment I opened the book.
While I don't have a sister with which to compare this story to, I had lived through a similar experience with my oldest brother. It pains me that we can't get over our past, but my present and future are much brighter without his shadow to overcast upon it.
Even though the book was somewhat predictable, the way it was told made it even more poignant. Not every piece of the puzzle was formed until the end, and I loved how Hannah wove it together. This was my first read by this author, and it won't be my last.

Very moving. I have to admit, there was a lump in my throat. And that does not happen very often.

An easy summer read. But with enough story-line and engaging characters to keep the pages turning....it's easy to understand the relationship between the sisters--even though they are so different. I have a sister, and it's not often that an author gets the nuances so right in the way two people relate to one another....Hannah does here. These two women are struggling as adults to find the innocence in their relationship that they once had--before it's too late. It made me want to call my sis' right up...

A beautifully written tale about two sisters and their shared family dysfunction. This inspiring story gives hope that it is never too late to restore relationship and start a new history together.

I thought it was a good book with a well written story line. Having 5 sisters I could relate to the feelings and frustrations of that relationship and by the time the book was done, I felt compelled to want to call and tell them how much I loved them. This is my first Kristin Hannah book and I would be willing to read more by this author.
