A very sweet and romantic spin on the "Bewitched" TV series, and a true keeper. The showering rose petal love scenes were to die for. I had a little trouble with forgiving Alec his big moment of stupidity toward the end, but I appreciated the fact that his behavior was completely in character for him. For a very stuffy & conventional man, quite bewildered by the fact that he has unwittingly married a witch, he comes through when it really counts, and the reader is never left doubting that he loves his heroine very deeply.

Not as good as I thought it would be.I read too many reviews and it had so much hype that it didn't live up to.Cute story with some interesting characters though. If you want to read this book don't read reviews with spoilers in it.

Cute book with several funny and touching scenes. Kind of a Bewitched in the regency era. Joy is the last witch of her line and has trouble with her spells; Lucien is a man who is extremely proud of his linage and propriety who can't believe he's married a witch.

This is one of the funniest books I have ever read. Jill Barnett is a wonderful author and is funny to boot. You pick up one of her books when you need a good laugh and a little romance!

she's a witch from a noble line and runs into a duke in the forest who thinks she's just a scared but respectable lady. He has to marry someone to get an heir and is sick of the marriage mart and so marries her, not understanding that she's an ACTUAL WITCH. It's kind of like the tv program "bewitched" where daryl marries samantha the witch. it's pretty funny.

Fun book of a witch who is not always in control
Could not wait to read this after Susan Elizabeth Phillips mentioned it in her list of favorite books. Enjoy it - but was looking for an ally or protector for Joy. She deserved one after falling in love with an arrogant Duke.
