I read this entire series. While I enjoyed the others, I did not enjoy this one. Simon Green apparently lost his way in this novel. He threw every magical cliche in here except the Virgin Birth. Whereas in previous issues, resolutions to events made sense, in this book things just happen and often make no sense. It was as if he was trying to make a grand exit for his hero and heroine and, as I state above, lost his way. What a disappointing finale.
