A fascinating book and a quick read. The author claims that a Dr. Eliyahu Reps has 'broken the code' that is in the original Hebrew bible, and that it provides information about the present and future. The book begins with the morning of 9/11 and how everything has been 'foretold' ~ if only we could understand the messages.

At first, I thought this Bible Code stuff might have some truth to it. After all, why couldn't God have put messages in the Bible? Then I learned how fake it all is. Take Moby Dick (a long book), remove all the vowels (since Hebrew had no vowels), spaces and punctuation. Then take a computer program and search for key words like "Saddam" "Osama" "Bush" or "SDDM" "SM" "BSH" since no vowels. If you can't find these in their exact order, skip a few words. So "SJDJM" is still "Saddam" because you can remove the J's! Or if you can't find it like that, skip every 2 words, so "SJJDJJM" is now "Saddam". Or if that doesn't work, skip every 10, so "SJJJJJJJJJJDJJJJJJJJJM" is still "Saddam".... you see how rediculous this gets. Now... realize we are using English and not Hebrew. The word for hello in English is NOT the same word in Hebrew or Greek. So if God DID put a message in the Bible, it would be in the original Hebrew language, and .God did not just so happen to pick English!!! Why didn't God pick French? Or some obscure African tribe language? In an African tribe maybe XZY means "God will end the world in 2040". See what I mean?
