Very very good book about 3 brothers who helped save Jews during WW2. They created their own little city in the woods, ambushed German soldiers for food and supplies, and fell in love. Lots of great pictures from the war as well as what the people look like today. I had never heard of this story before and found it very fascinating. Wonderfully written as well.

I learned a lot about the geography and about the brothers that I never knew about. It was an easy read, not too graphic; mostly facts. I liked that there were photos of the brothers and some of the other people in the book. Terrible time, but the brothers were heros.
