I loved this story, it is pure fantasy, but dry british humor mixed in. I listened to this, driving to my mom's, and the trip flew by. I has since purchased three of his other books.

If you love Terry Prachett, you should read Jasper Fforde. The same wit and irony flows through the narrative.
One suggestion though- try reading the Thursday Next series by Fforde before starting with this one. It makes the universe a little easier to understand.
