" Charlotte MacLeod has the gift of farce. Some of her humor is swift and subtle. some slapstick. but shebrings it off. At the same time, she spins a neat, clear webof puzzle & Mystery." states The Houston Post. She also has, "An impish play on words and a generous dash of wit (that)lend MacLeod mysteries their trademark...sheer fun. Her fans grow with every book she writes, and deservedly so.". says Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine. My neice has read the entire collection and I an only 2 books behind her... we enjoy them very much, and highly recommend them to fan of light mystery!

Fourth in the Bittershon/Kelling series. Wonderful characters. Set at the seashore house. Lionel's kids show up and cause chaos, in addition to the regular appearance of the dead bodies. Bittershon's family also show up in this book. Very Funny, excellent writer.

I enjoyed this book because I had gotten so I knew the characters, and wanted to see what would happen to them. a series of murders take space while Sarah and Max are supposedly having vacation. They are not married yet. You meet all of Maxes family. It was fun.
