Just finished Sorrow Mountain by Ani Pachen & Adelaide Donnelly. Wow! This is an outstanding look at what happened to one very devout woman who became a war leader in the fight against the Chinese invasion of Tibet. Her story is so inspiring while the rape of her country by China was heart breaking. How could the rest of the world stand by while this was happening to this peace loving people? Ani Pachen spent twenty-one years in captivity, was beaten, tortured and isolated from her family and friends but she never gave up.
Now reading my selection for performing/visual arts: Pablo Picasso Man and his Work by Domenico Porzio and Marco Valsecchi
