Second in McCarthy's Vegas Vampires series. This one tells Seamus Fox's story. He see Cara Kim stripping behind a screen in a club and falls immediately in lust (which hadn't happened for him in 200 years!). Due to a series of events, Cara is forced to live with Seamus while dangerous thugs are out to get them. Entertaining, hot read- very different from most vampire books- this one has romance, suspense AND humor!

I love this series! Seamus and Cara I thought fit together well! There were several parts where I would just be sitting there laughing out loud!

Second book in the series. Plot is much slower to develop than the first and Seamas and Cara are lacking as main characters. Small sections of the Brittany and Kelsey story kept this book alive.

This one was a little disappointing after reading 'Heiress for Heir,' which was the first book I've read from this author. Since I really enjoyed that one, I had high hopes for 'Bit the Jackpot,' but it fell short. It was too much going on with side stories and not entirely enough focus on Seamus and Cara. But when they did focus on them, they had some pretty steamy scenes.

This is the first book I have read from the "Vegas Vampire Series". It is very funny, chic and with smart wit. I love a great story line along with some fabulous sex and this has both. I cannot wait to read the other books from her series. She is now in my top 10 for favorite paranormal romance authors. I highly recommend this book and her other books.

This is the second in McCarthy's vamp series. It was very funny!
I really enjoyed reading this novel.It was funny and I can't wait to read the next one in this series.
Good story. Interesting characters. Just little more explicit than I expected.
The good was okay. It didn't have as much excitement as the first one. I found myself bored with it at times.
I was a bit disappointed by this second book. The new character introduced was interesting and well-thought out, but the plot was almost formulaic. A key scene was also missing, basically just skipped over. Additionally, several of the key plot issues magically resolved themselves. I do think the next book has the potential to go in an interesting direction, so I will continue the series, but, if it doesn't live up to that potential, I wouldn't continue further.
This book is really cute and kinda funny...as long as you like vampires (even just a little bit)..it's a nice easy read.
I wasn't sure going into this book, but I found it to be pretty fun! There's romance, danger, a head strong obstinate heroine... and the friends she makes (and those girls ROCK btw). The only book in this series I've read, I can't wait to get my hands on more of them!
Loved it!! Had a blast reading it and was a great follow up to High stakes! Erin McCarthy always surprises me with some great love scenes and creating high sexual tensions between characters. I can't wait to get to the rest in the Vegas Vampire series.

I absolutely loved this book! It was everything I expected and more! I love how Erin Mccarthy mixes fun with pleasure! For a quick read this book packs in a lot of fun. This story had sassy female characters, an interesting storyline, vampires, and some sexy scenes. I highly recommend this book!
I can not get into this series. I read so many vamp romance books and I love most of them, but this series I do not like. I don't like the characters or the plot line.
