Argeneau Family series. Vincent's plays are being sabotoged and he asks Bastian to send an investigator. However, when he opens his door to a young, human, woman PI his shock has him slamming the door in her face. PI Jackie Morrisey has known about vampires for years, but after having her heart broken by one years ago, she finds it hard to even by polite, much less cooperate with one. The sparks fly between her and Vincent. Has humor and thrills as the hunt for the saboteour risks Jackie's life. Another winner in this series.

Another in the Argeneau vampire series. Best series since Cahrlaine Harris' vampire series with Sookie Stackhouse.

Quick, funny read. I especially liked the characters of Vincent and Tiny. Worth the read.
