I picked this up in a 'discount' bin at a store. All I noticed was it was a vampire themed book which I enjoy, I didn't pay attention to that it was written by RL Stine. As a child I enjoyed his writing, but now as an adult, I like a more involved story line. This would be perfect for the preteen age. I gave it for 4 stars because it would be perfect for a younger age, but I took away the 1 star because the ending seemed choppy and rushed.

The reason I read this book is being that I read R.L. Stine books growing up. Apparently my taste has changed.

The book was alright. As you can tell, it is an omnibus of 'Dangerous Girls' & 'The Taste of Night'. 'Dangerous Girls' was the better one. As for 'The Taste of Night', eh, it was hard to follow at times. It skipped around to different times periods within a month then a two week period. Like I said, hard to follow.

I gave it 2 1/2 stars.
