This is an excellent book that is part of an excellent series. I found it through PBS, which is one of the great benefits of belonging. A mystery set in NYC Chinatown with insights of what goes on in people's lives there. Well developed characters and storyline. What more could one ask for? I only wish that S.J.Rozan was a more prolific writer.
This, the 5th book in the Lydia Chin/Bill Smith series was my favorite. I really enjoyed the detailed look at Chinatown, the "polite' way to get your point across, etc. The book did have many characters but I did not find them confusing. I also enjoyed the evolving relationship between Bill and Lydia and, as always, laughed outloud at encounters with Lydia's Chinese mother.
Fifth installment of Lydia Chin and Bill Smith series.
Lydia, a Chinatown native, goes undercover to search for clues as to the whereabouts of four missing waiters.
