A very early Albert Campion mystery. Suspenseful and fun -- recommended for Allingham fans or fans of early 20th century mysteries.

Albert Campion may be related to royalty, but he has a real way of getting mixed up in nefarious doings. For instance, he is a member of a house party at Black Dudley Manor when the host is murdered. I say! What poor form! If you like traditional Brit mysteries, this is a good one.
