Colene A. (colene) reviewed The Black Echo (Harry Bosch, Bk 1) (Audio CD) (Abridged) on + 44 more book reviews
I'll say one thing about the few books by Michael Connelly I've read--they do have a whole lot of things going on between the beginning and the end.
I started reading with this book as it is the first in the Harry Bosch series, which eventually merges with another series of which LINCOLN LAWYER is a part. I read in other reviews that having the Bosch background as Connelly cuts his teeth on the genre is a good start for both series.
Pretty darned good--a bit TOO many plot twists for my liking, but then, when sewer and drainage pipes are a central presence, you have to work down to them. Looking forward to continued Connelly books.
