"Are you a witch?" asked the princess of Tanaquil. "Of course not," she replied, knowing that magic eludes her but she can repair things - almost anything - and whatever she repairs never again needs repair. Then Tanaquil repairs a skeleton of a unicorn and strange things begin to happen. A black unicorn appears - linked to Tanaquil but what does it want of her? As she seeks the answer she finds her father who she has never known and a sister as well.
