I honestly wanted to like this one. It sounds like a book I could submerge myself in. Alas, it was not to be. There just wasn't enough there to hold me to the book. I kept finding my mind wandering off as I was reading and having to go back and read it again. After half way through, I just had to give up. Most books I don't hold onto that long but I really felt this would turn around but it didn't.
