Mandy Goff is a new author for Love Inspired Historical, but you wouldn't know it from the quality of her story. I was drawn in quickly, and laughing by the end of the first chapter. I don't usually equate humor with Regency romance, but in this case, it works very well. I even read sections out loud to my husband so he could enjoy them too. The characters aren't perfect, which endears them to me, but the gentler qualities of the time are obvious, too. Sometimes I felt the story dragged on a bit, but that is a minor flaw in an otherwise great read. I hope this will be the start of many books by Mandy for LIH.

This one was very good. Lots of humor. I also purchased the other one in this series.
I love Regency Style books. I thought the premise of the story was good but parts of the story were hard to believe.
