I borrowed this as ebook from local library, never heard of the author. Story line looked good. From the beginning this book captured my interest. Lots of action, way beyond black ops stuff. I adore Alexi and Trick and there are enough twists to the story to keep me inthralled. The humor of the internal dialog of Alexi in some instances made me laugh out loud. G. T. Almasi may be my new favorite author after the Anita Blake series this is the first one showing promise and there are no preternaturals involved. Lots of bionics and a love interest (no sex) between Alexi and Trick (Patrick). I will look forward to reading the next book.
