Jo Ann Ross is a great contemporary writer --I have not read anything from her other than contemporary. I love BLAZE

First of her books I've read. I read it in one day! I usually figure out who-dun-it's before the end of the books, but she kept me guessing until the very end. With several steamy love scenes, it was a great read.
I enjoyed the crime drama/romance from JoAnn Ross. If you are a fan of her work, you will enjoy this and this book might create some new fans for her as well!

A killer stalks closer and closer, and an attraction grows as big as the fires they both try to prevent. Tess still isn't completely over the loss of Danny, and Gage hasn't come to terms with the death of his wife. His laid-back, alpha cowboy attitude grates on Tess's nerves at first, and Tess's inability to focus on anything except her job drives Gage crazy. As these two fight the passion that burns between them, they never lose sight of their real goal-caching the lunatic who is setting fires all over town, causing death and destruction. But once the danger is over and the threat has passed, will the feelings that Tess and Gage felt for each other during a time of high-adrenaline be able to last?
You'll have to read BLAZE to find out, but it's definitely worth it!

Joann Ross is one of my favorite authors. She has sexy romance and a great storyline.
A really great book. This one kept me up too late at night reading and kept me guessing until the end.
Loved this book! Just finished it a couple days ago. This was my first Ross book and it won't be my last. It reminded me a lot of my favorites by Linda Howard and Sandra Brown such as "Dying to Please", "Mr. Perfect", "Open Season", and "Hello, Darkness". No romantic suspense fan should pass this book up!
I enjoyed the story line of the fire cop and the ATF agent out to catch an arsonist. The characters are true to form and the love scenes are H-O-T (pun intended--but appropriate).

Great book with a surprise twist at the end. I never saw it coming!!
This book was ok. I anticipated it to be a GREAT read (as is most of Ms. Ross' books), however, it seemed rushed towards the end and I couldn't help but feel relieved to finish it just so I could get it over with.

Really good thriller about a young female fire "cop" who meets and partners, in bed and out, with a ATF ex-agent, to find arsonist who like to include murder and torture in the mix. Fast moving and sizzling. Can anything be better?
