I read this book a while ago, then swapped it on this site. Why, or why, did I swap it? Lately, I realized my mistake when I was telling a friend of mine how much I had enjoyed it and I began to wish I could read it again. So, I've gone and requested another copy and just received it. I rarely read a book twice, but I'm going to spend the day reading this one again! My suggestion is, if you have lots of important work you need to do, or need to go to bed at a decent hour and get a lot of sleep tonight, don't start this book yet. You'll read it all day because you can't wait to see what happens next, and you'll have a hard time putting it down in the wee hours of the morning! Seriously! So, get a copy of this book. You probably won't get my copy, but you MIGHT somehow get one from someone else!

I really liked this book. The main characters are likeable and the pace is fast enough to keep you turning pages, but not so fast that you get left behind! I believe anyone interested in the spiritual aspects of the book will be well pleased. Seth and Miriam both progress spiritually throughout the story even though it remains a conflict between them through most of it. The story of the Saudi princess trying to escape the bondage placed on women by her faith and her country is a pleasing one and you will find yourself rooting for her from the beginning! Great story and well worth the read! You won't want to put it down so it should be a quick read, but pleasing!

A man is able to see multiple potential futures and he uses this gift to get him and a fugitive Saudi Arabian princess out of a myriad of horrible fates. It reads realistically.

I loved this book and was so sorry to see it come to an end. I am really enjoying Ted Dekker's writing. He weaves in so many questions about "religion" and other faiths and opens the door to questions about God's omnipresence. It was very eye opening to see how the workings in Saudi Arabia are. Women we are blessed to be able to experience God's (and America's)freedom.

Was a good read. Kind of strange but I think most of Dekker's books would be.

This is the first Ted Dekker book that I have read. WOW! Loved the storyline, loved the character development, etc. Gives one insight into the life of women in Saudia Arabia. Makes me very thankful to live in the United States.

Ted Dekker's books are always page-turners, and this is no different. Seth, an exceptionally brilliant young man, starts experiencing precognition events, one of which warns him that a young Arab woman in a bathroom will be attacked by a man. Rushing to that bathroom, he saves her, and that begins a wild journey of evading her enemies. Called into question during this journey is God's very existence, based on whether or not there is only one possible future or many, depending on the choices people make. Seth eventually loses his power of precognition and has nowhere to turn but prayer. A fascinating book peopled with vivid characters involved in a world-changing plot.

Oh my goodness, this book is good! This is the first book by Dekker that I have read, and I found it very hard to put down. I made the mistake of swapping my copy on this site a while ago, so I have now gone and requested it from someone else so I can read it again! I don't usually reread fiction books, but it has been about a year since I read this one, and I was really wishing I hadn't swapped my copy. Go ahead and request this book, but I don't think I'll turn loose of my copy again any time soon!

Seth Borders isn't your average graduate student. For starters hehas one of the world's highest IQs. Now he's suddenly struck by an incredible power - the ability to see multiple potential futures.
Still reeling from this inexplicable gift, Seth stumbles upon a beautiful woman named Miriam. Unknown to Seth, Miriam is a Saudi Arabian Princess who has fled her veild existence to escape a forced marriage of unimmaginable consequences. Cultures collide as they're thrown together and forced from an unstoppable force determined to kidnap or kill Miriam.
Ted Dekker not only has a great imagination he has a great understanding of the Arab world and their culture and creates a very true and real tale that will leave you hanging on the edge of your seat!

Unlike any book I've ever read. Action packed!
Don't blink while you read this one - concentrate.
This was a great book! Ted Dekker did it again! I found it difficult to get into at first, but once you get past the 2nd chapter, you are HOOKED!! You have to love a "Happy Ever After" type ending!
This was not the kind of book I normally read, but decided to see what it was about before mailing it in a swap. I read the first 3 chapters and didn't like what was happening, so laid it aside and started a different book. The next day I decided to give it another chance and I'm so glad I did. I could hardly put the book down and finished it the following day. Was action-packed and kept me turning pages as fast as I could. But more than that, I feel I learned some things about the Middle Eastern culture and religion.
A wonderful read. Great suspense and action from a wonderful Christian writer.
Very interesting blend of sci-fi and thriller while revealing life for women in the Saudi culture. Relevant to current events in the middle east.
Classic Good vs. Evil plot
Captured life in Saudi Arabia and the suppression of women in that country. An excellent story that draws you into the characters.
Had a bit a christian overtome but was not preachy and too over the top. Just the right amount so anyone can enjoy!
Some of the dialoge was a bit strained and it left a loose end with on the characters.
Would recomend!

Great book. Intriguing...keeps you guessing.
Absolutely Ted Dekker!! A fast-paced can't-put-it-down type book. I would expect nothing less from Ted Dekker!
This was the first book I've read of his, and I loved it! Very good!
Really good read, makes you think.
Edge-of-your-seat suspense. Very good!
A lot of action in this story that really keeps you wanting to read without stopping till you've reached the end! Really do enjoy most of Ted Dekker's books and this one doesn't disappoint!
Excellent Christian thriller. I couldn't put it down.
Amazing story. Wowed by it. My first of Ted Dekker and definately not my last.
Good story, interesting plot.
This is Ted Dekker at his best. He kept my interest all the way through even if it is a little different story line than I usually read.
I really enjoyed this book. It is fast-paced and has a good plot. Maybe not super realistic but a great story!
Fairly good, though a bit preachy at times. If you like Dekker, then this should be a good read.
Ted Dekker weaves an impossible tale and somehow makes it seem possible!
Ted Dekker is not my type of writer, but his books keep drawing me in. They are great Christian mysteries. You'll never guess the ending.
The future changes in the blink of an eye...or does it?
Seth Borders has a world-high IQ. Then he gains an incredible power-the ability to see multiple potential futures. He uses this gift to save a beautiful Saudi Arabian princess...and himself.
Some more Christian fiction from a friend. Here's the synopsis: An intoxicating tale set amidst the shifting sands of the Middle East, Blink touches on geopolitical conflicts as ancient as the earth itself. The page-turning plot follows a Saudi Arabian princess fleeing a wretched forced marriage for the promised land of America. A brilliant American graduate student discovers a mysterious power-giving him glimpses into the future. Thrown together, they become pawns in a struggle for power and must manipulate the very future in order to save themselves. In his most riveting novel to date, Dekker brings the story to a dramatic climax that will change the future of fiction in the blink of an eye. Ted Dekker is Christian fiction's hottest author, with applause increasing from fans and reviewers alike with each new release.
This book was a mixture of mysticism & adventure. The Saudi culture was interesting. i didn't care for the romance.
