not a bad thriller; would be better if plot didn't depend so much on the reader having read the previous book in the series (The Straw Men) and on the reader being a true believer in conspiracy theories. The suspense was good, the outcome probably unlikely if one accepts the basic premise of the book . . . but it's a thriller, right??
