Three short stories of relationships between fathers and sons. I thought they were all very dark, violent and dismal although the first story "Walking Out" was better than the rest. It was able to show the author's love of nature and in the end was a good coming of age story. However for the most part I disliked the book and only read it because it was our book clubs choice.
