This was my favorite of the "Irene Kelly" series books. I have read them all, and they usually refer back to previous events in Irene's life so it helps to read them in order. This one in particular should be read in order, since a lot of what happens is about Conn O'Connor, Irene's friend and mentor, and Conn's sister Maureen's disappearance. The story line was pretty intense with lots of characters and taking place in three different time periods. At times it was hard to remember who was who, but it had an excellent storyline. A "must read" for any Irene Kelly/Jan Burke fans!

This is a real good book. I love how this story covers different timelines. The characters are well written-and some of them you will love to hate.

Mystery that weaves history with contemporary story. Jan Burke's best to date.

Bloodlines is a novel of buried secrets, old friends, and new dangers. Irene Kelly, a novice reporter, and her husband, Frank Harriman, follow a fascinating labyrinth of lives, loves, sins, and secrets.
This is one of the first books I've read by Burke and I enjoyed it. It is actually like 3 stories in one. I definitely recommend this book to others.
An Irene Kelly mystery-- this one details how she got into the newspaper business
this is a brand new paperback I just finished reading, and it is really good, it starts out in 1958 and ends in the present day. A very good murder mystery.
Good Thriller
Good reading. Some suspense.
I loved this book. Jan Burke is an amazing author. Even when you know who the killer is, there is always another twist in the plot.
So far I think this is the BEST in the "Irene Kelly" series! Exciting book!!!
