Patricia Cornwell is going downhill fast, or should I say she's gone downhill fast. Her early books were entertaining and well written, this book is full of poor grammar and written at such a juvenille level that I found it laugh out loud funny. I used to be a huge fan of the Scarpetta series, but with this latest book, I'm off the bandwagon. The good news that if you get it here, you won't have spent any money. I belive this book would be great for leveling a crooked table.

Forensic pathology is such a riveting type of book to read when it's done by Patricia Cornwell. She's a great storyteller and you learn something from each book.

With her knowledge of state-of-the-art forensics and investigative techniques that have made her America's most alluring crime writer, Patricia Cornwell once again brings to life a world both frightening and irresistibly compelling. This is good book

Not the best Patricia Cornwell, this is OK but a bit tired, I prefer the earlier ones , they have more life--if you'll pardon the pun.

Another in the Scarpetta series. Well-written, somewhat implausable that such a smart lady could also be so dumb, but the series is fascinating.
