Catherine Coulter's Savich & Sherlock series is one of my faves for action; there's always a side of romance and it's not as dark as some FBI-related series are.

LOVE Coulter's new style of writing. Her thrillers are great and such a switch from the romance.

A little different from the previous Savich and Sherlock series that I have read, but a good read.

This was my first Coulter thriller. Well done! Even though I've stepped into the middle of an ongoing series, I quickly felt up to speed with the characters.

A good story...keeps the pace...a lot of action.

With possible blackmail, intra-judiciary rivalries personal pecadilloes there is more than enough intrigue and also suspects in this book.

This novel is a continuation of Coulters FBI thriller book. The couple Savich and Sherlock are on vacation that was cut short to investigate the murder of a federal court judge. Knowing Coulter you are going to have some paranormal elements also.

If you like the series, you'll like this book..........as per usual, it's a good read.

This an easy read if you are just looking to relax. The story line is believable and it keeps you guessing "who did it" until the very end. It was my first FBI mystery/thriller type book and a good one.

Good book, but I found it a little lighter than I like.

A weekend in the mountains are cut short for FBI agents Sherlock and Savich by the murder of a Supreme Court Justice in Washington.
Helpful Score: 1
This was a very enjoyable book, although the title actually has little to do with the plot. The plot is interesting without becoming too complex. I managed to read this book in about 3 days.
Always interesting - lots of action, a little romance, and this time a drop of the supernatural!
Helpful Score: 1
This was the first Coulter book I've read, and I was intrigued by the husband-wife crimefighting team- it definitely adds a whole new layer of 'plot' to the story. This story starts off supernaturally, but that first storyline dies off for a while, so if you're not into ghost stories, it's still a good read!
Helpful Score: 1
A beach book with really dumb plot contrivance. I'll gladly send it on to you.
Helpful Score: 1
This book is a continuation of characters Sherlock and Savich. A Supreme court justice is murdered i Washington D.C and they are sent to investigate the murder for the FBI. Within 24 hours there is another murder with the same mo.
This book is up to the standards of all Catherine Coulter books.

Another Sherlock and Savich mystery which is always great to read!!! Really enjoyed it from beginning to end and couldn't wait to find out who the killer was... great surprise ending.

Synopsis
Brutal murders shake up Washington's judicial elite in Catherine Coulter's ninth FBI thriller. The quiet weekend in a forest cabin that married FBI agents Savich and Sherlock have planned for themselves and their young son is interrupted when a frantic, nearly incoherent woman fleeing an unseen killer approaches Savich's stopped car. Then the couple is called back to Washington to solve the killing of a Supreme Court Justice, strangled the night before the opening of a high-profile death-penalty case, as well as the subsequent deaths of two of the Justice's clerks.

Another good Sherlock and Savich book.
FBI agents Savich and Sherlock return for another thriller involving an unsolved 30-year old case and a current murder of a Supreme Court justice.
Excellent reading!
Savich and Serlock investigate the murder of the supreme court judge. Ben Raven is out to protect the judges stepdaughter who is a reporter out to find the truth
Coulter at her best!!
i wasn't too thrilled by this book. to me, it was slow-paced and had too much talking. the ending was VERY predictible.
I love reading her series of books featuring Sherlock and Dillon. You can't tell how the book is going to end and who the guilty party is until the very end of the book. She keeps you guessing and turning the pages.
Fast moving with surprising twists and turns...will keep you glued to your seat!
Not as fast as her other books until about half way thru but ended up being as good!
A thriller that keeps you reading until the end!
another great one
I can't put these books down. This was a dup. Won't let go of all the rest. It's great to read in sequence, but I started down the line first. didn't know. It didn't matter. All are great!
I liked this one very much, It was a little different from most of the other FBI Thrillers.
Savich allows Callie Markham, an investigative reporter for the Washington Post, to partner woth local Metro Police liaison Ben Raven since she's got the inside track- she's the stepdaughter of the murdered Justice.
Very good book from an author that is fairly new to me - really like the FBI series.
LARGE PRINT EDITION. A long weekend in the Poconos is cut short when Sherlock and Savich are helicoptered back to Washington to lead the investigation into the brutal murder of a Supreme Court Justice...
One of Coulter's fast-paced thrillers that you can't put down! This is one of the better in the FBI series.
