Robert Goddard is an awesome British author who knows how to tease and tantilize as you're reading. A young woman disappears and Harry Barnett is the last person to see her. In fact, he was with her when she disappeared. Harry must travel from Greece back to England where he hasn't been for 14 years to try to unravel the mystery of why Heather had sought him out in Greece to begin with. I enjoyed this book so much that half way through I ordered four more of his books from PBS.

A very good read.
interesting settings and unique main character in that he is NOT rich and famous
I liked this book. It kept me reading. The narator is wrongly accused of killing a young woman who he feels is still alive. He follows her footsteps back to England by a series of photographs she left. I had read another book of Goddard's and was glad to find him again.
