I really enjoyed this book. It made me grin and giggle and wiggle around in my seat with excitement. Nikki is a down-to-earth heroine who deserves every break she gets. So is Dixie. So is Carlisle--though he's a hero, not a heroine--well, sort of! :) Carr's comfort with the lives, loves, and speech patterns of real human beings makes for easy reading--I was never "tripped up" by artificial-sounding dialogue or unrealistic plot twists.

Five stars is not enough! I hesitantly picked up this book, unfamiliar with author, and not expecting a good read. HA! I finished the last page hooked on another talented author...and am quickly ordering more of her books!

This was another wonderful book by Robyn Carr. I love her Virgin River series and I was curious to read something else that she had written. I wasn't disappointed. Her books are always full of people you wish you really knew and her information about the airline industry, especially after 9/11 made the book just that much more interesting!

My first Carr book and boy, did I enjoy this! I got so involved in the characters' lives, I was disappointed when the book ended! I'm going to go right now and see if there are any others of her books posted!

I was disappointed in this one. I love her Virgin River books but this one is more a love story to the airline industry than of the characters.

I just love Robyn Carr's stories! This one was no exception. Her characters are always so true to life. They always feel like people you'd want to be friends with. This one delved into the area of aircraft, and I came out knowing so much more about airlines, schedules, pilots and what makes an airline run. Her usual assortment of characters was so enjoyable, from the nasty mother to the father who just adores her to the gay best friend. Highly recommend this book!

They are three people who could seriously use a break. A fresh start, a shot at success and a chance to shine. Maybe a little romance, the kind that sticks. And some adventure wouldn't hurt. They decide to start a new airline in Las Vegas.

NIKKI BURGESS has survived a terrible marriage and an even worse divorce. And she's just about given up hope of ever finding love and happiness. But when her ex-husband suddenly dies, she gets custody of her kids again and a chance to start over and do it right.

DIXIE MCPHERSON, on the other hand, has had way too much love. She has eleven tennis bracelets, dozens of trinkets, piles of sexy lingerie and a tarnished reputation when all she ever wanted was true love, a partner and a family.

CARLISLE BARTLETT is loyal, generous, kindhearted and the funniest guy slinging drinks in the back of an airplane. But he has an ugly little secret. The only kind of love he's used to comes with bruises.

They are three people who could seriously use a break. A fresh start. A shot at success and a chance to shine. Maybe a little romance - the kind that sticks. And some adventure wouldn't hurt. So when they're presented with the challenge of joining a team starting a new airline in Las Vegas, they don't hesitate. With nothing to lose and everything to gain, these three friends are going in search of their own blue skies.

"Carr offers a well-written, warm-hearted story and genuinely fun read." - Publishers Weekly on the House on Olive Street
