I read and LOVED the first book of this (so far) series about an ex-military man/scholar-turned detective "The Fractal Mysteries". It is extremely well written and literate, has great dogs, and an interesting premise so I really searched for this second in the series. Just as enjoyable - motorcycle gangs v. Federal offices. Again, great dogs, too!

Enjoyed this book every bit as much as the first. The sense of humor throughout his books makes them as enjoyable as solving the mystery. As a dog-lover, his dogs are added bonuses.
Another great read from this author. Main character with flaws, guts and a no nonsense approach. Enjoyable and highly recommended.
