I loved these books as a child. In fact, they are the first that I actually remember reading. I just finished this first volume that I found a my local used book store. I did enjoy it very much, but am, as always, offended by the blatant racism of the times. Hence only 3 stars instead of 4 or 5.

Great book.
The first book in the series, the twins let us share their days and nites filled with sledding, boating, kite flying and kitten rescuing, and fending off the school bully.
