First Agatha Christie in a long time for me. Started me reading her again. Miss Marple is great in this. Gently pushing and prodding to find the murderer. Good ending.

In my opinion, one of the better Miss Marples. Not too many suspects to bog it down and an easy to follow investigation that gives you plenty of opportunity to form your own hypothesis on who-dunit (isn't that what makes Christie novels so much fun?). Jane Marple stays out of the way most of the time so don't expect too many scenes with her.
Fun Agatha Christie read.

A quick read, sort of like cleansing your palate between heavier courses of a meal. The twist was probably deemed more clever when the book first came out, but it's still a nice one and you can reread parts to see the clues you probably missed along the way. Miss Marple uses her knowledge (and years of snooping) of village life to ascertain motives behind the skullduggery, although some of her ruminations are a bit of a stretch.
I enjoyed this mystery. Christie is a good writer, though I haven't read much of her Miss Marple. I wasn't quite clear at the end why the murderers tried to hang it on who they did, but I was also tired when I finished, so maybe I just wasn't paying close enough attention. The village gossip aspect is interesting, and much different than the Poirot I'm used to reading.
A Jane Marple Murder Mystery. As are all Dame Agatha's books, it's an excellent one. I have another copy or I wouldn't be getting rid of this one!

Miss Marple is a delight, as always.
A very engaging story about the murder of a woman and how her body ended up in the library of a man who never knew her. Miss Marple is a fantastic character, and this book is a wonderful read.
