I love Scandinavian police procedurals, but this one was just off the mark. Good story, setting, characters and translation into English. However, I've been spoiled by Arnaldur Indridason's terrific Inspector Erlandur series, and while I was left wanting, I think I'll be giving this author another shot with her other books.
This was one of the few books that I started and couldn't finish. I didn't find the characters interesting or engaging, though the translation to English was good.
