All books on my shelf are 2/1, and check out my profile for unpostables - take 2 with every order.  I also have an ARC of Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen.  Thanks,

Kathy

I have an ongoing 2 for 1 deal going on as well.   PM me the title of the second book you want after ordering the first book.

Hi everyone!

See below in my signature for my ongoing deals!

"Hidden Gems" on my shelf would include a couple of HCs by Kaye Gibbons, some nice coffee-table type gift books, and at least one by Elizabeth Berg.......

I'm a pretty fast reader and add books to my shelf almost daily......

Stop by and take a look!

Claire

Any unpostables can be taken with the request of a book on my posted book list. Currently the only unpostable I have is: "Children of Jihad" by Jared Cohen.

Jean, the reason is that it is easier to find what you want when a deal is posted to a particular forum. There are a lot of posts on the Mysteries Forum and people know they are going to see mysteries posted and not have to look through a hundred romances to find something they are interested in. They may be going to put a sticky on each forum, not sure. It also keeps people from posting individual deals and then having others get upset about that. If it is just in one place it pleases those looking for and offereing deals and also doesn't upset those who don't want a bunch of deals posted except on the bazaar. Hope all this makes sense, it is late and we just got home.

I see the reason for a deals thread on mysteries, but what is the genre on Hidden Gems?

Jean,

It's not so much a certain genre as it is 1) the way Claire S. used it above to advertise deals on her "Hidden Gems", and 2) some members only frequent certain forums and want to advertise deals where their online buddies will see them.

Jean, that is a very good question, hadn't even thought about it. Maybe the powers that be are tired of sticking one at a time and decided to add all of them or maybe someone actaully asked for this one?

New to the club so I hope this is the spot to post this.  If not just let me know.  Just to say the book An Innocent Man by John Grisham is an excellent story about a man with mental illness wrongly convicted.

I recently received Sinister Shorts by Perri O'Shaughnessy and did not realize there is a circle of what looks like water damage on about 4 pages.  The book is in otherwise excellent condition.

It is a Wish List book but unpostable.  It is free with any other book on my bookshelf.  Just PM me.

Thanks.

My niece sent me a box of books that her teenagers have finished reading and/or do not want to read. When I opened the box there was about 30 of the Animorph series books, 2 Dragon Lance series books , 1 Forgotten Realms and about 10 other stand alone books. They are all in good condition... just have normal wear from being read. I am open to deals if you want more then one of them...or any other books on my self…just pm me with your request and I will see what I can do.

I just posted 6 big beautiful Reader's Digest Explore America series books that I love but have no room for. They are all in brand new condition. The titles are "Great American Journeys", "National Parks", "Historic Places", "Back Road & Hidden Corners", "Just Off the Interstate" ane "Our Living History". They would be great for vacation ideas, for getting to know other parts of the country, for dreaming about where to go, and they have beautiful pictures, lots of maps and lots of info. Because I want someone else to enjoy them I'm willing to do a 2-for-1 deal on them. You can order one and get one free or you can order 3 and get the other 3 free. If you want to be sure to be able to get all 6 (or the 2 you want) just order exactly what you want and I will gift you back the credits for the free book(s).

PM me if you have questions and I will try to check here often today.

Thanks! Cindy

Like new condition, just missing copyright/publisher page.

From Publishers Weekly
As part of this timely work on the still mysterious nature of sleep, Toronto-based science writer Dotto records the findings of laboratory tests--including her own 50-hour ordeal as a test subject--regarding the effects of sleep deprivation (from which scientists believe most people in urban, industrial societies suffer). In a fluent narrative, she explains how, starting with the electric light bulb, today's 24-hour economy and lifestyle, imposed by technology, disrupts human circadian rhythms and inner clocks, leading to major sleep and health disorders and impaired performance and safety in industry, transportation, sports, etc. Among suggested solutions, the author cites substituting multiple naps--common to animals--in place of long, single periods of sleep.

Free with any request off my shelf.

I have had these audio books (previous library copies -- audio cassettes)  .

Pick a Swap from my list and then contact me with PM re: your 2nd choice.  Since PBS defaults to 2 credits for audio -- you'll actually be getting the 2 audio books for 2 credits instead of 4.  Help me get these outta here or elsewhere they will go.

There are quite a few more audios on my site.  Look around, please.

Thanks a bunch,
