The "Books Of Rachel" was a good book. It followed the largest diamond made for the first Rachel, all the way to the 1960s. God had his hand in all of their lives. I enjoyed the book.

Very interesting novel. I loved the transition between centuries as the book followed the Cuheno family line. Really cool story.

The "Cuheno diamond" is passed on through family members named Rachel. These are the stories of being a Jewish woman through history from 1484 Spain to 1979 New York. The stories look at what it means to be Jewish from many different perspectives. A thoroughly engaging read.
I read this book many years ago for the first time and it has been one of the few books I have kept and re-read.
It is engrossing and touching with such historical accuracy it feels as if you there in the story.
I hope others enjoy it as much as I did.
