Just love Henleys' writings - Flaming Tina Kennedy's gypsy brother finally gets his story and it was great and worth the wait!
This was a great Scottish romance with plenty of the former characters from Tina and Ram's story mixed in with new characters to provide a entertaining read.
Raven and Heath are perfectly suited to each other and their romance is full of adventure, intrigue, and lusty romance that are trademark Virgina Henley

Very Good read. Virginia Henly puts very detailed history into her books.

Historical, with a touch of supernatural. Both Raven and Heath have "gifts", the way those gifts are woven into the story was nicely done and enjoyable. Some decent plot twists and a good story make for a fun read.
I loved this book, and I wanted to read it again. The characters are well-rounded and have richly diverse interactions. Well worth reading at least once!
I love Virginia Henley's writing. What woman wouldn't want a man like Heath Kennedy. It was romantic, humorous, historic and just plain entertaining. I can't put it down book! I enjoy her style. The minute you start to read her books you know you are going to enjoy it.
Another great story by Henley.

Henley will always be one of my favorite all time writers.
An unforgettable tale of a headstrong Englishwoman abducted by a Scotsman seeking passionate revenge....
Raven Carleton is every inch the English lady. But on this glorious morning, as she gallops along the seacoast, Raven is thinking about her freedom, not her imminent betrothal to aristocratic Christopher Dacre. Suddenly Raven is forced to draw rein when a man appears directly in her path. Silhouetted against the predawn sky, he is magnificenta darkly powerful stranger who will alter the course of her life.
When Scotsman Heath Kennedy first glimpses Raven Carleton, he sees a creature of such infinite loveliness, she takes his breath away. But in a land divided, Raven is about to become a pawn in the bitter border wars between England and Scotland. Abducted by Heath and held for ransom, Raven finds herself attracted to him in ways she never could have imagined...and Heath is utterly beguiled by his headstrong captive. Risking the wrath of two realms, the Scotsman does the unthinkable: He offers Raven her freedom. He asks only one thing in return.
