I really can't get enough of Kenyon's books. For some reason, no matter what genre she writes I am hooked. This one is no different.

It was exciting, action packed, funny, and sweet. That characters are great and I can't wait to read more of the League series. Kenyon definitely creates the best bad boys out there.

I think I am over this writer. Most of her books seem very alike anymore

I am a huge fan of Sherrilyn Kenyon, but I never imagined I would be into the whole sci-fi space setting. Guess what I am! Really the space and world references aren't cheesy like some furturistic sci-fi novels are.

Caillen and Desideria have instant chemistry in an across the crowded room sort of way. When in typical SK fashion they are thrown together in terrible situation that is when the sparks start to fly.

Even though this book is not as hot as some of hers that I have read and not even as much as the others in this series. It does however have a nice build-up and even the simple brushes of hands and nearness have a certain intimate quality to them that make your breath quicken.

Bottom line for me is this: Even if you are not into the Sci-fi genre, it is still a good read. Even while the world is different it is well done and not over the top with weird furturistic references. It is a romance novel that is full of heat, hot guys and kick ass chicks that keep you turning pages until the last one.

Caillen's comebacks alone make this book worth reading!

I wasn't looking forward to the fifth installment of the League series as much as I have to past books. I wasn't sure I would like Caillen as much as I did Nyk, Sin or even Vik not to mention the others. However as soon as he opened his mouth and the trash talking started I realized it wouldn't be a problem. It was a great read. It could have been twice as long and I still would have finished it in a day.

This was a good read. I've read the whole series and this was no disappointment. Well written and follows the story line with no drop in context. The characters were well rounded and the story flowed in a timely manner.

Better than the reviews give this one credit for. There is only one sex scene but the chemistry between Caillen and Desi is electric! The plot line and non-stop action engage the reader from the get-go. I would definitely recommend this book, especially if you are a Kenyon fan:)

In the universe where the League is law, most live in fear. We fight back. Welcome to a world where corrupt assassination politics dominate everyone. It's kill or be killed.

For Caillen Dagan, a defiant soldier of fortune, survival isn't a right, it's a brutal daily battle. Moving through the Ichidian universe like a wraith, his brushes with the law and death are legendary. But when an act of rare heroism reveals his hidden birthright, he's forced into a world much more dangerous and cold-hearted than the bloody streets where he was raised- one of obscene wealth and lethal politics.

Ferocious and determined, Desideria Denaraii serves as an official bodyguard for her queen. Born of questionable genetics, she will do anything to prove herself worthy of the weapons she carries and the position she's won by combat. But when she uncovers a ruthless plot to assassinate the queen and overthrow her country's government, Desideria is caught in the crosshairs.

With assassination contracts out on both of them, Caillen and Desideria must learn to fight together or die alone. And if they fail, their governments will fall into the hands of an unimaginable evil.
