Overall this was a very disturbing book. It left me uneasy, strangely unfulfilled, and even a bit queasy. I really didn't see a point to all the blood and gore except for the fact that the heroine wishes to remain young forever. Other than that, the plot was mangled and meandering. I found a particular scene so disgusting that I put the book down for several months before I could force myself to finish it. I won't give any spoilers here but let's just say I'm a cat lover and leave it at that. Won't bother reading anything else by this author.

Withcraft, Potions, Spells, Immortality, Death and lesbian overtures .... this book has it all. A bit on the wierd side. If you like the occult and witchcraft you should enjoy it !

Poor Alex. She thought she would have some fun, take a chance, maybe fool around a little. Instead she's lying dead in her own blood, cut open like a slaughtered animal. But the worst is still to come. Her tender young flesh will soon be used in an unspeakable act, an unholy ritual that few sane people could even believe.

It wasn't what I expected although the story line was interesting.

This author is very gruesome in every way. A book about witchcraft. Loved it. I let a friend borrow this book and she said it made her sick. This chickie does not hold back. Do not eat before you read this.

This is the second book I have read from Sephera Giron and she is now my favorite horror author. This book is a must read for any horror fan. While not scary, it takes a lot to scare me, it has elements from many different types of books. I felt compassion and fondness for the villian, Vanessa.

Took too long to get going. I thought I would like this book because of the ouija board and witchcraft reference but I just couldn't get into it. Might be right up someone elses alley just not mine.
