This book is one of the most extensively researched that I have read. According to the author, he spent two years on preliminary research and another year on full time research and writing. He provides an extensive bibliography. It is a well written and true story of a father and son's love and fight for survival while prisoners in six different concentration camps during the Holocaust. It is incredible that they both survived together. What they endured will touch you deeply. You will not forget this book. D.
