Beautiful, emotionally rivetting book. One of the best nonfiction books I've read in a long time. Tells of hardship that William experienced to get to where he is now. Be prepared to cry. Loved it!

What an inspiring book! It's the story of a kid who persisted with his idea, despite almost no resources and even less money or help, until he succeeded. There's a section in the middle of the book that is hard going if you're not scientifically inclined, but stick with it because after that come the kudos that will bring tears to your eyes. Very moving. It would make a great gift for any boy or girl who likes to tinker and dream big.
