I enjoy this series a lot. This entry, number 3, again involves a ghost with a problem that Gram and Betts need to solve while they also solve a more important here-and-now murder of someone they know. A fair amount occurs in the cooking school, which I like, and the ghostly problem is not involved with a famous incident from the past. It's a little more low-key and very pleasurable to work through both problems with the characters. And the dynamics of what can and can't happen with the local ghosts that only Gram and Betts can see grow and change a bit with each book. So far, the author has avoided letting the woo-woo stuff get out of hand.
You'll like this book if you can handle just a bit of ghostliness served up with calm common sense.

Enjoyed this book in the series, very much. Interesting how she puts it all together and has fun with her stories. Ghosts galore in this one, some sad stuff and some fun.

Not my favorite of the series but still a fun book to read. The token ghost of the book wasn't someone I could put with a legendary person, I didn't enjoy the ghost in this book as much; the book was harder to follow but still a good read....Looking forward and hoping for more with the next in the series
