Funny (sometimes hilarious!), touching, and heartbreaking (at times) very well-written novel, written via her journal entries, about feisty 82 year old Cora Sledge. What a character Cora is! I loved her to pieces. And the full cast of characters, from her bickering, dismayed children, to her new love interest, to the staff at The Palisades assisted living home are just fantastic. The author did a wonderful job, I think, of capturing her characters' multi-faceted lives and their tumulut of emotions. A great fast, I couldn't put it down, I had to see how things would turn out for the indomitable Cora!
