Breathe is more than just a prairie romance, it is an edge of your seat page turning mystery. This book is deeper than most historical fiction books that you will find and it really makes you think. There is a darker side of things, but not too dark to survive without God on your side.
In this novel, instead of following one character with various side characters in the background, the reader really follows the three different St. Clair siblings on their individual adventures. Having one story come to a content closure in this book, I really look forward to the next two books in the series to find out just how their journeys continue.

This was a really great book. I read it in one sitting, even though I had other things to do. I found the characters to be great and Lisa Bergren was great with the details and history from the 1800s. I can't wait for the next one to come out, "Sing" (4/1/10), this book left you wanting more from the characters. I would definitely recommend this book to others to read.

This was so good! It is set in beautiful Colorado Springs during the late 1800's. Odessa and her brother and sister have come there sin hope that the cure for her consumption can be found in the cool, dry mountain air. The book is filled with mystery and intrigue, along with a sweet romance. I can't wait to read the other two books in the series.
