A Breathless Bride was a fascinating, capture-your-interest story, but it didn't have the emotional wallop that I was looking for in the end. Oh, it came close, but I would have preferred more flashbacks to the time that Constantine dumped her and the fallout from that dumping. Instead, A Breathless Bride seemed to gloss over that period and made it less important for the reader.
