There is a dragon terrorizing the Highlands of Ballybliss. One night they decide to give their own dragon-doubting vigin Gwendolyn Wilder to the dragon to hopefully sate the dragon. And its amazing what a woman can do when she puts her mind to it, even if she is the prisoner of a dragon. So dont think that Gwendolyn is going down without a fight. I am sure you will love this book as I have.

This is one of Medeiros better books. I really liked the mystery of the "dragon" and she draws you into the story quite well! Stayed up way too late finishing it.

The mysterious Dragon of Weyrcraig Castle has once again demanded the villagers at Ballybliss provide him with food and whiskey. But this time he also wants gold. Since the villagers don't have any gold, they decide a virgin sacrifice will have to do. So, they stake Gwendolyn Wilder in the castle courtyard, hoping she will satisfy the Dragon's appetite. Gwen soon finds herself a prisoner to the Dragon, a man who treats her like a princess, but keeps to the shadows so she cannot see his face.

Cute fairytale romance. After Gwen realizes the Dragon is a mortal man, she stands up to him and defends the people of her village who wronged him. She isn't afraid of him, which intrigues him. The Dragon has truly never met a woman like her. My rating: 4.5 Stars.
