I loved the Bridgeton series on Netflix. So Someone here gifted me 4 of the books but I have to get the first ones to read them in order. Can anyone tell me which book # I should stop at if I dont want to read the book that is season two of the series?  In other words, did the streaming series come from book one?

I think I read that Season 1 is Book one. Season 2 is Book 2.  I wouldn't swear to that but I that is what I remember reading in an article.. Which is why Daphne's husband doesn't show up in Season 2 on Netflix.
