THIS IS A GREAT READ...I CAN'T WAIT TO READ THE NEXT ONE.
I had a hard time finishing this. I got to page 62 of 348, and just skipped to the last 3 chapters, the story didnt move fast enough for me. The ending was intense. I just didnt want to read the entire book. You need to know that I read most books beginning to end. I even finish mediocre books. I just didnt care for the writers style and her way of having the main character think about past events in her mind. It was too confusing.

Annie gets involved in a neighbors murder when she is ask to draw a composite of the murderer from a description of the 12 year old daughter that survived the attack. Upon finishing the drawing Annie realizes she has seen this person before and when she remembers where she had seen him it is a shock to realize he had killed the wrong person. Very good story and no cussing or sex throughout the story which is very refreshing.

This was my first book by this author and I am hooked. I will definitely read the next in the series. Lots of action.
It was ok for a preachy kind of 'who dunnit'.
A great Christian author, has the pulse of a secular writer and the feelings for real people along with their problems.
I read all 4 books in the series and just loved them. If you like mysteries I think you will enjoy this. Very interesting info about court room artists and also artist who draw sketches of criminals from witness memories. Lots of detail about the studying necessary to do this work and the emotion it evokes. Recommend this series as well as the others I have read by Brandilyn
