A good read. Little slow getting into it but the pace picks up.
Amy Mallory, Lucien "Irish" Flaherty and Dustin and Sally Eachan had one thing in common. Their grandfathers all fought in WWII and all were involved in a Nazi "Treasure Train." Long after all three men are dead, Amy, Irish, Dustin and Sally become embroiled in the mystery of that trainand are put in danger because of it. It is a very intriguing storyline and as always, Patricia Potter is a master of characterization and storytelling. The book started off slowly, but soon picked up and then became hard to put down. Recommended.
World War II romance.
a gripping novel about the demands of honor
and the demands of the heart
and the demands of the heart
This was a great book. I love her contemporary ronances.
Love Patricia Potter's writing! This book is about a girl raised in a strict military family. She vowed to never fall for a man in uniform. Lucien Flaherty has devoted his life to duty, country, and family. But all he believes is shattered when his ancestors' honor is tainted by scandal - and by secrets that link his past to that of a beautiful stranger.
A story filled with action, excitement and colorful characters. A really good read!
