A good autobiography, but no photos (except on the dust cover) or index (in case one wants to look up a certain event or person). There is no co-writer listed, but it is very readable. My copy is the first edition so I don't know if it was reprinted, but there are 22 copies available on PBS so it seems to have sold well.
He didn't have a lot of financial resources at the beginning of his career. "One morning Stewart called to say he'd found a guitarist and to ask if I would come around to hear him. I tell him I'll have to bring the baby, as Frances has an audition." The guitarist is new in town, from Corsica, "and it becomes apparent as we play that he hasn't been hired for his virtuosity. He only only knows a few chords, but boy does he look cool in those leather pants."

Great autobiography. A must read for all Sting fans.
Sting - a better singer than writer. However, he's had a curious life. One could breeze through this "autobiography" in two hours.
Overall a good book. Left some holes in stories. It is not your typical autobiography it is made up of short stories of moments in his life.
Fascinating read! A great insight into the unique personality of this talented individual.
