I think this must be for the YA group but for me it was a dud and mostly because I think the writing style of the story is terrible
The story is more of a ripoff of the 'slenderman' myth from a few years ago when those girls killed their friend because 'slenderman' told them to do it--really? but that is a form of 'cult' or something isn't it?
anyway this is written in the 'then and now' format and I'm getting very tired of that in books, the writing just isn't very good at all as it just doesn't pull you into the story and just keeps flipping around until you have to check to see which pov you are reading--tiresome
I'm only givin this the one star because I think it has too many flaws to make for a good story that she managed to drag out to 400 pages
