Good read about academia, love, literature and self-discovery.
Sara, a young PhD candidate searching for lost love letters of Charlotte Bronte is jilted by her "aging hipster" fiance who needs to go to Paris and "find himself." She then embarks on a journey filled with kooky characters and literary references.
Smart literary fiction.

This was an odd book. I enjoyed reading it, because the author is a good writer - very good at witty zings that had me laughing out loud. The storyline had great potential. But ultimately I felt little sympathy for the main characters - they were just sort of going from pleasure to pleasure in some ways. It was strange. Hard to explain!
