This is the 3rd installment of the Bubbles Yablonski series. Her romance with photographer Steve Stiletto heats up in this exciting fast paced novel. With witty dialoge and oddball characters, you are sure to enjoy this one as well. Someone is posing as Steve Stiletto and tried to set Steve and Bubbles up to be murdered. Instead they find a dead body, and later a suicide. Now Bubbles and Steve are compeating for the same story. Having Bubbles armed with a portable curling iron, and Genevive armed with mashed potatoes, the bunch is on the hunt to find the murderer and solve the mystery. I give this book yet another 5 BOLD stars.

Another in the Bubbles series, this time she is investigating the happenings of an abandoned coal mine and dodging danger as well. Quick and lighthearted read. Interesting 'recipes' included.

Bubbles Yablonsky, hairdresser and wanna be big story reporter, bumbles her way through another engaging puzzle. With a cast of colorful characters and some laugh-out-loud funny lines, this book is once again downright amusing.

IF you like the Stephanie Plumm series then you will enjoy these books. Bubbles is a hair dresser who is trying to become a reporter. These books are very funny.

"Two Guys Community College" journalism graduate, Bubbles Yablonsky is off and running again in this 3 installment in the Bubbles series.
Spandex & leopard print clad, bubblegum chomping, in-your-face sexy former hairdresser, Bubbles is still barely hanging on to her job as a part-time reporter for the local paper while solving murders and raising her teen-aged daughter.
Laugh-out-loud funny with likeable characters; as a bonus there are good beauty tips inside (such as a green-tea/potato compress for bags under the eyes as well as a peel-off-jello masque and a Miracle Whip facial, etc. When I was really feeling guilty about reading instead of doing chores, I rationalized that I was doing "self-improvement research" instead of pleasure reading (however, I didn't even fool myself)!

Bubbles is a hoot. A hair dresser turned reporter, she fumbles her way through investigations. Always a great cast of characters and a hot love interest. Very entertaining the whole series through. I would suggest reading them in order.

I really liked this book.
Being an old hairdresser myself, I love Bubbles! She's got spirit and smarts.
This book was just too much fun to put down!
I couldn't get into this book. I find dumb blonde jokes and stories annoying.

another great adventure of Bubbles! I just love her!
Enjoyable read.
All of the "Bubbles" books are a quick read. The Bubbles character is similar to the Stephanie Plum and Kinsey Millhone characters. Lots of funny events happening, adventure and suspense.

Bubbles gets a call that has her racing to an abandoned coal mine for a potential big story. She finds her boyfriend, Steve Stilletto, unconscious, and another man dead. Getting Steve out of the coal mine isn't easy when an explosion blocks them in.
Third in the series. Very funny. My rating: 4 Stars.

Cute chic lit
Good book...
A fluffier version of a Stephanie plum book. In these the main character is a hair lady with desires to do investigative journalism. She has the required rough - tough guy to help her out, and some truly crazy family members to keep things interesting
Fizzy lighy fun in the genre of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. Bubbles is a bleach blond hairdresser with a heart of gold, a teenage daughter, an ambulance chasing lawyer ex-husband and a strong ambitions for a career as a newspaper reporter, which incidentally comes with frequently working with a hunky photojournalist. This series doesn't quite capture you the way that Evanovich's series does, but it's still light fun.

Another funny entry into this series. My wife and I both thought that the author was straining here and there trying to be funny, but overall it's still a good story with lots of good moments.
Another Bubbles book... What's not to love?
Bubbles Yablonsky has been summoned. Heeding the call from her boss at the News-Times, she's racing her Camaro toward an abandoned coal mine and a potentially big story. What she finds is the love of her life, Steve Stiletto, knocked unconscious-and another man with a hole in his chest. The bizarre scene will lead the not-so-dumb blond and her main squeeze straight into the heart of coal country-and a strange conspiracy linked to a cadre of women known as the Slagville Sirens, a local hot spot called Limbo, and a mysterious assassin who wants Bubbles's investigation to go up in flames.

Another fun Bubbles story!! She sure gets herself in a mess this time! But, our girl is getting smarter. I really enjoy this series.
Sarah Strohmeyer's writing raises the Bubbles series well above the usual "occupation-oriented murder." This one involves a death in an abandoned coalmine, a death with strong links to the past. And someone does not want Bubbles to survive long enough to solve the mystery. But who?
Another funny "Bubbles" whodunit...you will fall in love with her!
If you love this book then you should try Janet Evanovich books they are even funnier!

I haven't read this particular book (just don't have the time), but the other one I read in this series was really cute and fun.
